About Kalimath Astrology, Dehradun
A name that comes from home
Kalimath is a small village in the Rudraprayag hills of Uttarakhand, known to many for its Siddhpeeth. For BS Rawat, it is also simply home.
His father's house is in Kalimath, and his father has performed puja there. Today his cousin brother continues that work in Kalimath, looking after the puja and the other activities that go with it. Growing up in that household meant growing up around daily ritual, festival preparations, and families who came with questions about marriages, new beginnings and difficult years.
When BS Rawat began offering astrology consultations in Dehradun, he named the practice after the place his family comes from. The name is a way of remembering where he learned to respect this tradition. It is not a claim to speak for anyone else.
What Kalimath Astrology is, and what it isn't
Kalimath Astrology is a private consultation practice in Panditwari, Dehradun. It is not the Kalimath temple, and it is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the temple or its trust. If you are looking for the temple itself, it is in Kalimath village, Rudraprayag district.
How BS Rawat works
- Face to face. Every consultation happens in person at Panditwari, by appointment.
- Plain language. You should understand what you are being told. Ask him to explain anything twice.
- Guidance, not guarantees. A chart can help you think about timing and tendencies. It cannot decide your future for you, and nobody can honestly promise you an outcome.
- No fear. You won't be told that something terrible will happen unless you pay for a remedy. Any traditional suggestion is offered as an option.
